Children’s Ministry

At Roosevelt Community Church, children’s weekly programming is a valued and important part of our ministry.  We offer Sunday School classes for infants through middle school.

Nursery (birth – age 2)

Our nursery is located in the back of our sanctuary.  A rotating team of volunteers provides a warm and caring atmosphere for our smallest church-goers.

Preschool (age 2 – 5)

Our preschool classroom is designed to provide a fun, energetic, and educational Sunday School experience for 2 through 5 year olds to enjoy.  Teachers Paul Enfield and Paul Lyons work with our preschoolers each week.  Our preschool program uses a media-based Lil K curriculum.  (www.kidmo.com)

Elementary (K-5th grade)

Our elementary program takes place each week upstairs with Teachers Janice Haskell and Teresa Quinn.  Janice and Teresa provide homemade Bible-based curriculum that teaches the truth of God’s word in creative and innovative ways.
